New Distribution Agreement with Bruker AXS
October 16, 2018 – Foster City, California – Quantum Analytics is excited to announce that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Bruker AXS, a global market leader in advanced X-ray solutions for materials research and quality control in applied, pharmaceutical, and industrial applications.
Under this new agreement, customers can acquire selected Bruker X-ray benchtop systems also from Quantum Analytics. These systems are the energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) elemental analyzers S2 PUMA and the new S2 POLAR, as well as the benchtop X-ray diffraction (XRD) system D2 PHASER.
The agreement expands the Quantum Analytics portfolio with Bruker X-ray solutions to provide industrial laboratories access to state-of-the-art equipment designed to improve profitability and process control.
“There is a growing need for direct, accurate, and reproducible chemical analysis solutions in materials processing, food, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, oil & gas industries,” said Scott Japczynski, Executive Vice President of Quantum Analytics. “We are very excited to be adding Bruker’s XRD and XRF products to our portfolio of enabling technologies that meet the demands of today’s evolving manufacturing processes.”
Timothy Cline, Bruker AXS’ Vice President of Sales, added “The Bruker team is delighted to work together with Quantum Analytics to expand our reach in the United States within emerging and proven markets. Our benchtop XRD and XRF products are leading the way into many applications, including the replacement of antiquated and more complicated traditional techniques.”
Quantum Analytics will be promoting the Bruker XRF and XRD portfolio at the Gulf Coast Conference at the Moody Gardens Convention Center in Galveston, Texas, October 16-17, 2018.
Bruker S2 PUMA
The S2 PUMA is an energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer for elemental analysis. This high-performance benchtop instrument can analyze concentrations of elements from carbon to americium (C – Am). Detectable elemental concentrations in the samples range from ppm up to 100%.
Bruker S2 POLAR
The S2 POLAR is a new multi-element benchtop analyzer based on polarized EDXRF. It offers the same excellent analytical precision for quality control in the petrochemical industry which is typically only achieved by more expensive wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence (WDXRF) instruments.
Bruker D2 PHASER
The D2 PHASER is a benchtop X-ray powder diffraction system that delivers superior data quality and collection speed. Its compact size, low weight, and easy-to-use design make the system conveniently mobile without the need for complicated infrastructure, large and heavy-load work benches, or cumbersome instrument alignment. A standard power outlet is all that is required to take the system in a few minutes from original packaging to outstanding results.
