Genohm, a Part of Agilent, has reached an agreement with the Medical University of Graz in Austria in which we will sponsor their Master’s course in Biobanking. The University is the second oldest in Austria, has had six Nobel laureates that taught or researched there, and has supported a lively scientific community in the capital. We are excited to work with the Medical University of Graz to further scientific knowledge and spread interest in the benefits of digital laboratories, integration, automation, and validation.
The SLIMS platform will be an integral part of the course, with Genohm advisors teaching students how to use the software and bringing their real-world domain expertise to the classroom. The curriculum includes presentations and face-to-face courses and is comprised of a range of topics covering the challenges of biobanking and the facilities, infrastructure, management, and implementations that counteract those challenges.
