Today, LGC announces that Euan O’Sullivan has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the organisation with immediate effect. Euan succeeds Tim Robinson, who will become Chairman of LGC having served as Chief Executive since May 2013.
After joining LGC in 2007 as a Non-Executive Director, Euan served as Corporate Development Director from July 2010 before being appointed Managing Director of the Standards division in 2012. In 2017, Euan joined LGC’s Board as an Executive Director, before being appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in June 2020 and President & COO in January 2021.
Tim Robinson CBE, LGC’s Chairman, said: “I am delighted about Euan’s promotion to CEO of LGC. Euan has made an enormous contribution to the development of LGC over his 11 years with the company and is perfectly placed to take over the leadership. I look forward to continuing to work with Euan, the Executive Leadership Team and our Board on the ongoing development of LGC.”
