PerkinElmer’s Employees Participate in Impact Day 2018

Global day of service coincides with 10-year anniversary of Company’s corporate social responsibility program

WHAT: Today, PerkinElmer, Inc. will host its third annual Impact Day. Employees from PerkinElmer’s sites around the world will participate in outreach activities that align with the Company’s mission of innovating for a healthier world. Over 2,000 employees in 20 countries will volunteer more than 9,000 hours of their time this year, participating in projects that support causes across four key areas: disease research, food safety, the environment and newborn health.

WHY: “At PerkinElmer, corporate social responsibility spans beyond a volunteer activity or donation to a charity; it is a core tenet ingrained in our company culture,” said Joel Goldberg, General Counsel and Secretary, PerkinElmer. “We are committed to creating better outcomes in our communities by acting as responsible neighbors and corporate citizens every day. This is especially true on Impact Day when employees worldwide come together to make an even greater difference through teamwork and camaraderie.”
