Genohm has made further strides in education this month with two of our own becoming contributors at the Université Côte d’Azur at Nice in France, along with other physicians and academic professors, to MSc Biobanks and Complex Data Management. Idrees Samim, SLIMS Engineer, and Jean-Guillaume Baumann, SLIMS Field Application Specialist, will represent Genohm there on 18 October 2018.
The name of the lecture is “Introduction in Computerized Management of Biobanks: SLIMS.” It will introduce the students to a crucial aspect of biobanking: laboratory information computerization. A biobanking-oriented instance of SLIMS will be used as an example of state-of-the-art software used by biobanks all over the world.
