- Seoul National University Bundang Hospital to leverage GE Healthcare’s artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to take the lead in using medical AI in their hospital system.
- The two collaborators intend to support and accelerate Korean start-ups to test and develop clinical applications on Edison Digital Health Platform
Seoul, South Korea – March 31, 2022 — GE Healthcare and Seoul National University Bundang Hospital (SNUBH) have entered a memorandum of understanding to explore opportunities for SNUBH to leverage Edison Digital Health Platform and related services from GE Healthcare. SNUBH and GE Healthcare aim to support and accelerate Korean start-ups in the development and deployment of clinical and operational applications on the platform.
This will be the first complete deployment of Edison Digital Health Platform for developers in Korea. The platform is GE Healthcare’s application hosting and development platform which offers a catalogue of healthcare-specific services that enable rapid design, development, and deployment of applications and algorithms.
